a while back i was lucky enough to bump into malcolm campbell at a surf shop and talk for a bit. super nice guy. i told him i would mail him some shots of a board i have. it has a neat airbrush on both sides done by his friend who is now deceased. anyways, these are them-

Sick board and air brushing!!!! What's your take on the fin sizing for the board (of course relative to your board's size)? I have a 5'8" Bumble Bee due in by February. Just Curious.
this board is 6' 5" and the fin is 8" and wide. looks kind of big for the board but works pretty good. keep in mind this thing is 33 years old. im not really sure what they are putting in the modern bumble bee's. i think some of the fin people are making bonzer specific center fins now.
No way! 33 years, very cool! The air brushing through the channels is amazing. Definitely a wall hanger for my taste. Thanks for the input and the rad pictures of the board!

It does not really look like his normal extreme psychedelic stuff.
That thing's in great shape.
I thought it was a recent board for sure.
Back then they usually used the 8" in most because of the wave they surfed
being Quite hollow.
Today there are a few different size options for bonzer center fins and the template is malcolms. See True Ames site and Surfy Surfy.
6", 6.5"(the standard), 7", 8"(for the Bee in extreme hollows)
