some people dont think "funshapes" are real surfboards, but i love mine. my friends refer to it as the "mothers milk" because i always go back to it.inside of a big quiver, it has logged more good sessions than any other board i have.
that's no funboard in my book. just looks like a thicker/wider shortboard. i see funboards to be the pointed eggs in the 8'ish range. great pic whatever the board!
Hey-Great blog. Found you through a comment you left at Pushingtide. As for the post, I finally gave in this year and bought a somewhat less than eggy 8footer, for bigger days up here in Washington. Nothing like extending a session in strong offshores because of the added paddlepower and ability to get in earlier!
